Or should I admit that Amber Rose attempted to do Grace Jones without the epitome of dark eloquence and regal artistry that bold Grace Jones has. Keep this a secret until I post the pictures, but I've shaved my hair(!) and it seems it is an ode to Grace Jones. Not to worry, i'm not fussed with what the resemblance means (violent hardness, complex femininity and being called Grace wherever I hop, skip and jump to) because had I the desire to idiolise: Grace Jones would be my pick - J'adore Grace Jones.
This in mind, you can imagine why I laughed when I saw Ambers GJ inspired shoot for complex.com. I've spotted a bevy of differences, it's all wrong but the one disparity that stood most bold and firm for me is that dirty word 'sex': with Grace Jones it's an implication of art, with Amber Rose it seems the objective. I'm confused by my intense want to protect the image and style of GJ (born from love I suspect) but Amber, oui you are beautiful and have a FANTASTICALLY super salacious body, but try hard to not eff with Grace Jones again....'pretty please'. Besides you own the gold dome look.
