A Charitable Find

Mother wanted me to clean my old room, so.....instead I redecorated it
to an all white boudoir. Oh it's super clean now mother, your guests
will be so happy to sleep there that I even want to...sleeping on my
white iron frame bed with a cascade of pillows: jealousy!
Appropriately so, that super spring cleaning and sacrificing my room
to guests, I was left with a small mountain of unwanted clothes, shoes
and bags (some of which never worn). I'm here to tell you that
sometimes being charitable pays dividends (beyond just doing something
good), why? Because on this occasion when taking black bags of goods
to my nearest Age Concern I found this Burberry mac for £5! BIG SMILE.
Its a mans Mac but that didn't matter, I wear mens clothes anyway the
problem was the small ciggy hole in the back but that just means I'll
have to customise it....very small cost to pay for a £5 Burberry Mac.
When I've completed it I'll be showing you.

Deacon Does Crusaid

Who: Giles Deacon (among other celebrities)
What: Crusaid's World AIDS Day Campaign: Think. Talk. Act. Give!
When: NOW

It seems fashions upward mobile designer hearts a good cause, in particular, Crusaid's World AIDS day campaign; Think. Talk. Act. Give! that launched on Friday. He has so generously used his mascot Eek for the tee shirt. The infamous Eek made his debut in Deacons Autumn/Winter '07 Collection and has remained in his collection since. Cilit Bang could not remove him.

In true creativity, Deacon has furthered his charitable commitment by styling his Japanese inspired character in spiked studs, which, as a matter of fact sweetie is a clever and abstract reference to protection. Oh Bon! Je l'aime...scrupulous fashion indeed.

This exclusive Giles Deacon Eek tee is available at www.thinktalkactgive.org for £30 and all the proceeds go to the charitable work of Crusaid...supporting poor marginalised people and communities (in the UK and internationally) affected by HIV and AIDS.

But wait, let's not forget that Crusaid own a charity shop that has made it in Timeouts London's Best Charity Shops list AND has been Mary (Queen of Shops) Portas approved. 'You might just find something incredible' she says. It's no wonder they have an exclusive conscious designer tee shirt.

I say...'Support the cause and look great doing it!'
