Two Words I mean right now!

I realise this doesn't constitute a fitting 'I'm sorry' image but I googled 'I'm sorry face' hoping I'd find the cutest most irresistably charming face - so I wouldn't need to take pictures of my not so cute face - and this my friends is what came up....HAD TO USE IT! Then that took me on another tangent (lilchamp.org - a blog about odd little toys). But I'm back now so, without further ado, in soft song: I'm sorry I haven't blogged so long. But while I've been away here's a brief of the things that were filling my time.

I went to bournemouth for my birthday - twas fantastico
Then had spectacular Merci Me sale - thrice fabo
I still have a berry...but I think I more suited to the iphone (it compliments my complexion)
I made a vintage Men's Ozwald Boateng suit into an Art deco dress for a client (post to come)
I've made six bridesmaid dresses for a Portugese wedding (post to come)
I've made a birthday outfit for a special birthday girl (post to come)

That's it! That's all that has been going on. That and obsessing and having compulsions for creating fashion art (by default of course) plus the pompadour, which has taken over me like a bad rash I can't help but scratch. I've finished 'The End of Mr Y', which with a flagging ending compensated my anti climax with a truly tremendous beginning and middle. At some point before I die when I'm consumed with 'there's got to be more to life than this' thoughts, I may make the concoction for telepathy that features in this book. Until such time, right here right now I've moved onto 'The Gargoyle'. I'm even wondering whether my life would make for an interesting read......hmm tumbleweed and stitches.

Ok onwards Jeeves...so, the burn on my right hand wrist has dissolved into my arm and right now I have a dull aching toothache from eating sweet but sharp popcorn this afternoon while watching predictable 'Wolfman'. Though I'm supposed to be working I'm steadily not! ha. I even ponder going into tremendous detail about today's fill since tumbleweed is to dry for entertainment but I refuse to subject you to flaky reports from a life of stitches. I don't even have images (tut) despite being surrounded by beautiful things but I blame my constant thoughts of designing for distracting me. Though, if only you were eyes above my shoulders you would be excited about my makings (dresses and things). Oh my, one thing I should not neglect to tell you starts with the word MEMBER or rather MEMBERSHIP.

I have great news...a revised date for the Merci Me Private Sale is to be announced shortly! But things have changed, and it has to do with that word 'membership'. New Top New Year


It's new years eve, I'm sat in the living room couch with a certain gentleman both with our machines on our laps as if to resemble a cosy internet cafe for two. Outside there are pops and blasts of fire works performing a frantic New Year Ochestra. Upstairs our mysterious neighbour seems to be making something yet again, I sometimes imagine she has a secret lab...for God knows what! I also seem to have a wicked fairy dancing with a pitch fork in my throat. This same impish thing has been roaming inside me fervently trying to conjure illness upon me but there has been a battle for good health.

Today I feel as though I may be losing so I've decided to let a few people down and stay well within my warm four walls. Besides, another boozey affair only fuels the fairy the next day. Though there will be no celebrating tonight I'm happy with this years crimbo season...besides the endless festivities and very entertaining behaviour I've been creating outfits to keep up appearances. My most favourite is this Poirot inspired (very) mini dress cum blouse. In fact it will feature in my January Sale! So....If you should want one then do let me know! *sneeze*. What is that? That smell? Oui, from the oven comes the smell of freshly baked cupcakes and with that I wish you a prosperous new year. Hip Hip...hoorah!

News just in!

 

Daddy says a journey begins with a single step...hanging on the wall on the first floor landing of our old old house is a picture with these very words. I'm getting there small small but oh boy would I just love to be in my four story victorian house, top to floor french windows, high ceiling, working at home in my study where I delegate to more than capable and trusting employees (of which I have over 300) sustaining my fashion kingdom all the while having the paper dropped on my stoop, which by the way has pillars on either side.
 
Oh to live is to dream and to dream is to become (not always but hopefully)...though it's more than a single step away I have, however, taken a single step hopefully in that direction and I completely forgot to tell you...Me Me was an a Mag. Ninety Nine Mag! My first full spread feature...humble beginnings but a beginning nonetheless.
