Ring of a Rose

I think I took the goat and its milk when I made this ring. But my golly who cares that it's bigger than my fist, it is truly gorgeous and so romantic. I call it 'Excusez Moi' because it politely tells you to give it attention and room. If it were a person it would be half Audrey Hepburn, half Carrie Bradshaw and would on this occassion go home to No.5, Sex and The City Drive where sitting on her classic chaise lounge, wearing 40's silk vintage under garments she hand writes letters to her lover with perfect joint writing on perfumed dusky rose paper. Oui, great things happen in my head!

BUT have I got more news for you...for the Merci Me Sale on the 30th Jan this ring will be making its debut at that sale!

Might I add, I have a tip/suggestion: If you're liking the huge bows on alice bands but can not for the life of you rationalise handing over £20 for it, get a scarf, roll it, wrap it around your head (back to front) and knot the biggest bow you can make....voila

Going Bowling

It's that time again...a new hairstyle! Time for a new image - how exciting. I've had this centre parting feather look longer than I personally like....Even maintained the shabby dog look every now and then, though there really wasn't any maintaining involved: just waking up, the dog and shabby is by default. I'm not the 'adorn your hair with ornaments type of girl that's tooooooo trendy!  Far tooooooooo trendy even for me.

For now the tresses have regressed into a straw trilby, felt hats and beanies, but my scalp has been protesting I hear it scream if I wear one for too long! I admit it, I'm about this I<-->I short of just shaving it all off and not having to worry about trendy tresses ever! What the biscuit...Britney did it, Cassie half did it (I still don't like it), Amber Rose walks and talks it.....and look NOW Solange went all patchy patchy. There may be a fine line between cowardice or courageous (which ever is your perspective).

Or maybe the Rihanna slash punk slash Sarah Harding? I'm not part of that popular crowd...spit that right out like soured milk. Abundant curls? By Jeeves, I've got!....

THE BOWL CUT. I know YSL did it last fall but I can only remember it being a hit in the 80's and seeing little caucasian boys about 5-8 years old rock it! It's not in trend, it's short, manageable. Not the Kerri Hilson or even Agyness Deyn, I'll not shave the back. it will be somewhat boyish and girlish (lol) I hope. Yes, (as I nod convincing myself it is the way forward) I think I'll do the bowl cut! Bowl me!

Sometime very soon I'll post you pictures of a bowl adorning Me Me and it should look Saunders (you know....ab fab). But for now, you'll have to do with images scowered from the (I could not live without) web.
